Job summary

Furmano Foods is seeking a Welding / Fabricator Maintenance Tech for 2nd shift to maintain and repair equipment across our food production and labeling operations. You will diagnose mechanical issues, install new and existing machinery, interpret blueprints, and collaborate with team members and purchasing to source parts.

• Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.

Furmano Foods is looking for a Welding /Fabricator Maintenance Tech for 2nd shift.Individual must perform maintenance repairs, troubleshooting, and support our food production and labeling operations. The role is responsible for work order completion of planned projects as well as addressing breakdowns, failures, and repairs. Applicants must be comfortable working in both team and individual contributor environments.

Only Candidates that meet or exceed the following position requirements will be immediately considered:

• A minimum of three (3) years of related mechanical experience with Welding experiencepreferred.

Successful candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

• Install new and existing equipment
• Diagnose mechanical problems/ bearings, drives, hydraulics, and piping systems
• Provide recommendations and solutions for equipment modifications
• Interpret and follow Blueprints, diagrams, and instructions
• Must have the ability to work through technical questions with a team, prioritize projects and assign to workers on the team, and work with purchasing manager to order necessary parts. Must have the ability to communicate and work well with people on the team, and with other managers and lead personnel.

Salary: Up to $30.09 per hour

Earn Bonus Incentives:

2nd/3rd Shift Differential -$1.00 per hour

Attendance Bonus -$0.50 per hour

1st Pass Quality Bonus-$0.50 per hour

• 3rd Shift-night shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability-Saturdays mandatory during our busy season
