Job summary

Furmano Foods is seeking a Welding / Fabricator Maintenance Tech for 2nd shift to support our food production line. The role involves maintenance repairs, troubleshooting, and completing work orders for planned projects as well as addressing breakdowns.

The candidate should be comfortable working in both team and individual contributor environments. Requirements include at least 3 years of related mechanical experience with welding preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) years of related mechanical experience with welding experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams and instructions.
• Ability to work in team and as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Install new and existing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems including bearings, drives, hydraulics, and piping systems.
• Provide recommendations and solutions for equipment modifications.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.
• Communicate effectively with team, managers, and the purchasing team to order necessary parts.
