Job summary

Furmano Foods is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic to support our 2nd shift in Northumberland, PA. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment used in food production and labeling.

Candidates with an Associate's Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent training are preferred, with at least three years of related experience if no degree is held. Responsibilities include reading schematics, programming Allen Bradley PLCs, and replacing

• At least 3 years of related electro-mechanical experience if no degree/apprenticeship is present.
• Strong trouble-shooting and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Ability to work with PLCs, schematics, and high-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs and troubleshooting for food production and labeling operations.
• Complete work orders for planned projects and address breakdowns and repairs.
• Work effectively in both team settings and as an individual contributor.

Furmano Foods is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd. Individual must perform maintenance repairs, troubleshooting, and support our food production and labeling operations. The role is responsible for work order completion of planned projects as well as addressing breakdowns, failures, and repairs. Applicants must be comfortable working in both team and individual contributor environments.

• NO RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIREDfor Candidates who have completed an Associate's Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, completion of a Certified Apprenticeship Program, or applicable DD214 verified Military Training.

• A minimum of three (3) years of related electro-mechanical experience

Successful candidates will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Extensive PLC (Allen Bradley) technical knowledge (including programming and ladder logic)
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Passion for troubleshooting as well as continuous improvement.
• High voltage, three phase familiarity.
• Comfortable replacing motors, drives, and mechanical drive train components.
• Robotics familiarity is a plus.

Salary: Up to $31.26 per hour

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• 2nd Shift: night shift- 3 pm-11pm
• This position typically follows the hours of the shift scheduled to work; however, working days may vary based on season.
• Typically, Monday through Friday. Very often Saturday. 12 hours Shifts may be required during busy times.
