Job summary

Furmano Foods in Northumberland, PA is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift to perform maintenance repairs, troubleshoot, and support our food production and labeling operations. You will complete work orders for planned projects and address breakdowns, working in both team and individual contributor settings.

Ideal candidates include associates with Electro-Mechanical Technology training or three years of electro-mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or military equivalent; or 3+ years electro-mechanical experience.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley) and ladder logic.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with high voltage and three-phase systems.
• Comfort replacing motors, drives, and mechanical drivetrain components.
• Robotics familiarity is a plus.

Furmano Foods is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd. Individual must perform maintenance repairs, troubleshooting, and support our food production and labeling operations. The role is responsible for work order completion of planned projects as well as addressing breakdowns, failures, and repairs. Applicants must be comfortable working in both team and individual contributor environments.

Only Candidates that meet or exceed the following position requirements will be immediately considered:

• NO RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIREDfor Candidates who have completed an Associate's Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, completion of a Certified Apprenticeship Program, or applicable DD214 verified Military Training.

• A minimum of three (3) years of related electro-mechanical experience

Successful candidates will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Extensive PLC (Allen Bradley) technical knowledge (including programming and ladder logic)
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Passion for troubleshooting as well as continuous improvement.
• High voltage, three phase familiarity.
• Comfortable replacing motors, drives, and mechanical drive train components.
• Robotics familiarity is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $31.26 per hour

Earn Bonus Incentives

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• 2nd Shift: night shift- 3 pm-11pm
• This position typically follows the hours of the shift scheduled to work; however, working days may vary based on season.
• Typically, Monday through Friday. Very often Saturday. 12 hours Shifts may be required during busy times.
