Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking Production Workers in the United States (New York). You will read blueprints and wire together equipment, performing welds with stick, MIG, or TIG processes.

The role requires precision, steady attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. Responsibilities include following drawings, using grinders and saws, operating calipers and welding gauges, and maintaining weld machines.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to assemble equipment
• Welding experience across stick, MIG, and TIG processes preferred
• Basic mechanical assembly and interpretation of engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other instructions to accurately create equipment
• Prefer candidate with stick, mig, and tig experience
• Utilize handheld tools such as a grinder, band saws, and torch
• Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools
• Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods
• Perform quality checks to ensure product meets standards
• Rework/repair welded parts per engineering changes
• Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management
