Job summary

Future Fabricating is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to join our team. You will read blueprints, prepare materials, and perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum components for architectural and infrastructure projects.

The role requires 3–5 years in welding and blueprint reading, with the ability to operate cranes and saws, lift up to 60 pounds, and work on site with safety as a priority. We offer comprehensive benefits and a hands-on shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years MIG/TIG welding experience on steel/stainless/aluminum.
• 3–5 years blueprint reading / layout / fit up.
• Ability to operate overhead crane / Hi-Lo / vertical band saw.
• Able to work independently, efficiently and on schedule.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lb.
• Welder qualifications tests per AWS D1.1, D1.5 (1G & 5G) required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine fabrication specifications.
• Use MIG/TIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components.
• Measure and cut materials with calipers and micrometers.
• Assemble and weld parts per project requirements and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team on construction sites to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain equipment and work area for safety and efficiency.
• Weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Operate drill press, power saws, grinders, torches, pipe bender and roller.
