Job summary

A-1 Balers, part of the Waste Pro family, is hiring a Welder to perform fabrication and repair of containers and Equipment in Fort Pierce, FL. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime potential and opportunities to contribute to Waste Pro's daily hauling operations.

Responsibilities include welding and repairing various containers, fabricating components for trucks, and maintaining documentation while upholding safety standards in a hands-on shop environment.

Qualifications

• One year welding experience or more.
• Experience welding steel and aluminum.
• Ability to operate fabrication tools (plasma cutter, torch, brake, shear).
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Weld and repair front-load, rear-load, and roll-off containers.
• Fabricate steel components for trucks, containers, and equipment.
• Weld steel and aluminum using MIG and arc welding.
• Cut steel with plasma cutter or torch; bend with brake and shear.
• Install lids, wheels, and container components.
• Maintain a clean, safe welding/fabrication area.
• Complete repair paperwork and documentation.
