Job summary

ARC3 Gases Inc. in Richmond, VA seeks a Welder Repair & Service Technician to provide technical service, repair and support for metalworking equipment sold by Arc3 and to assist the sales force.

You will troubleshoot and repair welding equipment, perform maintenance, train on-site, travel to branches weekly, maintain safety standards and CST status after training. Strong mechanical/electrical skills and ability to read wiring diagrams are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical education preferred (welding engineering technician or related).
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical/electrical/electronics experience required.
• Reading and understanding wiring diagrams/electrical schematics preferred.
• Experience repairing pneumatic/hydraulic equipment preferred.
• Experience interacting directly with customers required.

Responsibilities

• Possess knowledge of welding and metalworking equipment Arc3 sells and how to troubleshoot/repair it.
• Deliver exceptional value and customer experience using product knowledge and technical skills.
• Diagnose customer needs and share information with Arc3 personnel.
• Maintain safety policies, OSHA Lockout/Tagout procedures, and professional demeanor.
• Travel to designated branches weekly and perform back-up tasks as needed.
