Job summary

Arc3 Gases, Inc. is seeking a Welder Repair & Service Technician to provide hands-on service and expertise for metalworking equipment used by Arc3 customers and the salesforce.

The role requires traveling to branches weekly, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and maintaining safety standards. Strong communication, a valid driving record, and the ability to train on major brands are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical education preferred in welding or related engineering fields.
• Certified Service Technician certification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical, electrical, or electronics experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Experience repairing pneumatic or hydraulic equipment preferred.
• Experience interacting directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of welding and metalworking equipment sold by Arc3 and how to troubleshoot and repair it.
• Deliver exceptional value and customer experience through technical service and support.
• Travel to designated branches weekly and perform service calls as scheduled.
• Maintain safety policies and OSHA Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Assist branches in installing and delivering equipment; maintain shop.
• Keep paperwork up to date and participate in inventory counts.
