Job summary

Arc3 Gases is seeking a Welder Repair & Service Technician to provide technical service and expertise for metalworking equipment for our customers and salesforce. The role involves repairing, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment performance while upholding safety standards.

You will travel to designated branches weekly, interact with customers, and maintain strong product knowledge. A high school diploma and mechanical/electrical experience are required; technical training and a CST

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical education preferred (welding engineering technician degrees or related engineering/electronics degrees).
• Certified Service Technician certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical, electrical, or electronics experience required.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and electrical schematics preferred.
• Experience interacting directly with customers required.

Responsibilities

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of welding and metalworking equipment and optimize usage for customers.
• Utilize product knowledge and skills to deliver value and a superior customer experience.
• Diagnose customer needs and share information with Arc3 personnel.
• Maintain safety policies and procedures including OSHA Lockout/Tagout.
• Repair Arc3-owned welding equipment and assist branches with installation and delivery.
• Maintain service shop and participate in inventory counts.
• Occasionally back-up driving for inter-store needs.
