Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field preferred; will consider experience in lieu of degree.
• 5 years of proven experience in welding engineering and production supervision.
• Strong knowledge of various welding processes, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., AWS, ASME).
• Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Detail-oriented with high quality standards and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welding Process Optimization: develop welding procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Quality Assurance: inspect welding work and maintain QC measures.
• Production Supervision: lead and train a team of production workers; foster productivity.
• Production Planning: collaborate with planning to meet schedules.
• Equipment Maintenance: oversee welding equipment maintenance and calibration.
