Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding or Industrial Engineering required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing and weld engineering.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing.
• Ability to work with high accuracy in production welding.
• Knowledge of welding processes and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve products or reduce costs using fabrication knowledge.
• Troubleshoot product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
• Confer with engineers to implement procedures and resolve malfunctions.
• Determine root causes of failures and suggest design/process changes.
• Update documentation for job instructions and SOPs.
• Plan sequence of operations to maximize efficiency and utilization.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Develop welding processes for new products and supervise technicians.
