Job summary

Baxter is seeking an experienced Welder for its Batesville, IN facility to set up and perform welding and finishing operations on parts and assemblies. You will move stock, load welding wire, and ensure quality welds per SOPs while maintaining safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Must pass MIG weld test and complete GMAW School.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with welding and finishing operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform welding and finishing on parts and assemblies.
• Check weld quality, locations, and fit; perform repairs as needed.
• Move stock and complete parts between workstations and racks.
• Record measurements and maintain safety, housekeeping and SOP adherence.
• Train and assist other operators as required to ensure quality output.
