Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technologist to identify and manage asset reliability risks for welding equipment and systems at our Lynchburg, Virginia site.

You will define, design, and refine maintenance plans and lead technical support for crafts and engineers. The role requires extensive experience with automated welding equipment, PLC controls, SAP PM, and working in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field/Electrical Technology required.
• Extensive experience with maintenance and operations of automated welding equipment.
• Able to obtain/maintain DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could affect welding equipment and systems.
• Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine asset maintenance plans for plant welding systems and subsystems.
• Provide technical support to Electrical and Electronics Craftsmen and other teams.
