Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead manufacturing processes to ensure cost-effective production, including methods, operating standards, and process flow within welding and final assembly departments
• Improve or develop new welding equipment, methods, and procedures
• Create standard operating procedures for welding processes and inspection
• Maintain documentation for PFMEAs, change-over procedures, APQP, and PPAP
• Coordinate the launch of new programs, equipment installations, and retrofits
• Measure process efficiency, investigate out-of-control metrics, and recommend corrective actions
• Participate in product and process introduction utilizing APQP knowledge

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering or a related field
• Experience as a Welding, Manufacturing, or Process Engineer in a high-volume welding and fabrication environment
