Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Construction Superintendent - Welding (Starbase) to own day-to-day welding execution on site for fluid systems and infrastructure projects. You will lead field welding operations, supervise welders and contractors, and ensure safe, high-quality installations in a fast-paced test environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, managing material deliveries, reviewing drawings and isometrics, and driving productivity while aligning with project milestones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of professional experience in construction or aerospace, with leadership experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with a construction trade skill.
• Experience leading weld contractors and multi-disciplinary crews.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day welding project execution on site.
• Lead site logistics, scheduling, and quality control for welding.
• Manage welding material deliveries, storage, and site cleanliness.
• Ensure welds meet SpaceX quality standards and review drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineering, and facilities teams.
• Oversee safety and compliance including ITAR requirements.
