Job summary

Sinclair Community College is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Welding courses at the Dayton, OH campus. The starting pay is $1,016 per credit hour assigned to teach, with course catalog available for available offerings.

This position is open to those residing in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky, or able to work within these states. Part-time, regular status with potential for advancement and benefits is described.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer aided manufacturing or related field required.
• Must have five years of work experience in the field.
• Collegiate teaching experience preferred.
• Industry license or certification (e.g., Journeyman) required.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare and provide syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with policies.
• Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies and use instructional technology.
