Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is seeking a Welding Sales Specialist to service Reading, Harrisburg, Hazle Township, Philadelphia, and York markets.

You will evaluate customer welding practices, drive advanced fabrication sales, and train customers on CNC cutting and robotic welding systems. This role includes base pay plus commission, a company truck, and a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, tuition assistance, and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of formalized welding experience.
• Five or more years in B2B or specialized sales.
• Reliable transportation, current driver's license, minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration.
• Advance the Airgas Advanced Fabrication Sales Methodology to contribute to the growth of capital equipment, robotics, and automation solutions.
• Provide knowledgeable support and sharing of expertise on CNC cutting systems, robotic welding systems, and plasma/laser integration.
• Act as a mentor to the wider sales team; provide onsite product and application training for customers to help upskill their workforce and foster development.
• Coordinate the installation and servicing of fixed and robotic automation projects, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
• Collect and report on market trends, industry activities, and customer needs to keep Airgas as a trusted reference and leader in the industry.]

Responsibilities
