The role focuses on reading drawings, performing welding operations (MIG/TIG), and maintaining equipment in a safe shop environment. On-site, with regular hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six to twelve months welding experience preferred.
• Welding course or apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience with MIG/TIG welding preferred but not required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and basic blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication work to join metal components according to specifications.
• Operate welding equipment, machinery, and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect work to ensure accuracy, quality, and proper fit.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition and perform routine maintenance.
