Job summary

Precision Industrial Manufacturing is seeking a Welder/Laborer/Apprentice to be trained on specialized equipment for steel fabrication. The role involves setup, measurement reading, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will stand on their feet for long periods, perform basic math, complete required training on time, and operate welding processes such as TIG, MIG, and stick. Prior welding experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic measuring calculations.
• Safety-conscious mindset with adherence to policies and procedures.
• Successful completion of required on-the-job training on time.
• Experience or familiarity with TIG, MIG, and stick welding preferred.
• Familiarity with common hand tools and cranes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understands and performs welding processes with assistance to repair and fabricate equipment.
• Sets up welding equipment according to function and application.
• Reads measurements and cuts materials from cut lists.
• Operates safely under supervisor guidance and follows instructions.
• Adheres to company and customer care standards and promotes safety.
