Job summary

Sabre Industries seeks a Welder to join its production team. You will weld poles and assemblies per drawings using GMAC or FCAW, adjust machines to procedures, and maintain quality and safety on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include interpreting weld symbols, reading work orders, and coordinating with the production team to meet schedules. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adherence to OSHA PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• AWS Certification required for MIG operations.
• Must pass Welder Trainee certification and be AWS certified in MIG.
• Proficient in reading complex prints and specs.
• Able to read and write; English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines and adjust to procedure parameters.
• Read drawings and weld symbols for proper attachments, sizes, and configurations.
• Weld components in 1G and 2F positions using GMAC or FCAW.
• Maintain clean work area and follow OSHA PPE requirements.
• Inspect welds and ensure conformance to drawings and specs.
• Operate overhead cranes and transport materials as needed.
• Read work orders and production schedules; report labor in MES.
