Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a full-time Welder to perform production welding and assembly of pole components in the Large Pole department. You will read drawings, support part layout, and weld using Flux-Cored Arc Welding, plasma, and oxy-fuel torches.

The role requires physical stamina and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work with minimal supervision, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret complex prints and specifications.
• Proficiency with weld gauges and measuring tools.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform production welding and assembly of pole components in the large pole department.
• Read drawings to determine parts and layout locations on round tubes or formed shafts.
• Operate plasma/oxy-fuel torches and grinders to prepare and weld parts.
• Follow safety guidelines and Sabre’s quality expectations at all times.
• Attend to routine maintenance and cleanliness of work area.
