Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to assemble and weld pole components in a fast-paced environment. You will read drawings, set up equipment, and perform quality welds using Flux-Cored Arc Welding and related processes.

Safety and teamwork are essential as you handle heavy materials and operate at a fitters station within the large pole department. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and proficiency with shop mathematics and weld gauges.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints.
• Proficient in using weld gauges and basic shop math.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Flux-Cored Arc Welding and related equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and assemble pole components per drawings.
• Operate welding equipment and perform finish welds per specs.
• Inspect welds and ensure conformance to drawings and quality standards.
• Work safely with protective gear and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with team and assist others as needed.
