Job summary

Sabre Industries is hiring a Welder C to perform production welding within prescribed codes and procedures. You will read drawings, set up welding equipment, and weld components on pole assemblies on the production line. The role requires adherence to safety standards and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• AWS Certification required for specific welding operations.
• Must pass Welder Trainee certification and be AWS certified in MIG welding.

Responsibilities

• Position pole assemblies and weld according to drawings and specifications.
• Read weld symbols and determine attachment locations and weld sizes.
• Set up welding machines and adjust for procedures; use PPE as required.
• Inspect welds and ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials and maintain a clean work area.
