Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks adjunct faculty to provide instruction and assessment in alignment with common syllabi. The role is temporary, part-time, and hired each semester as needed.

You will teach assigned courses, maintain attendance and grading records, and support students outside class time while using Ivy Learn and other technology. Diversity and inclusion are emphasized in all activities.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.

Responsibilities

• PROGRAM OPERATION: Teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes; provide syllabus to students; maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• STUDENTS: Assist students outside scheduled class time; address concerns and consult with coordinator as needed.
• INSTRUCTION: Meet all scheduled classes; use technology such as Ivy Learn/PowerPoint; notify if emergency absence; promote diversity and inclusion.
