Ivy Tech Bloomington campus is seeking part-time welding instructors to teach welding beginning in August. Courses are offered in a blended format with online lectures and in-person lab one day a week for four hours, including daytime and evening sessions and some Morgan County offerings.
Adjuncts earn $46.75 per contact hour and may teach no more than 13 hours per week, delivering instruction, preparing materials, and maintaining records in accordance with college policies and FERPA.
Ivy Tech Bloomington campus is searching for part time Welding instructors to teach welding starting in August. Welding courses are taught in a blended format. The lecture is online and lab is in person one day a week for 4 hours. We have welding courses during the day and evening as well as some courses are offered in Morgan County.
Individuals should be familiar with Shielded Metal Arc Welding (STICK), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG).
Adjuncts make $46.75 per contact hour and can not teach more than 13hrs per week.
Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.

A qualified adjunct faculty member, including Dual Credit, Workforce Alignment, and a full-time faculty teaching outside their discipline, meets the technical course standard through one of four routes:
