Job summary

Trade Pro Inc. is seeking skilled Structural Welders and Fitters for a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30pm-2:00am) to fabricate, weld, and assemble structural components with precision.

The role emphasizes Flux-Core welding, interpretation of blueprints, and mechanical understanding to ensure high-quality construction projects. The candidate will read drawings, perform 3G/4G welds in all positions (including overhead/vertical), and maintain safety protocols while collaborating with the team on complex

Qualifications

• 5 years of structural welding experience.
• Must pass 3G/4G Flux-Core plate tests, 1" visual/bend, stringer beads only.
• 2nd shift Monday - Thursday (3:30pm-2:00am) with OT as required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Structural Welders and Fitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling structural components with precision and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems to ensure high-quality construction projects.

This is a 2nd shift position (Monday - Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am)

Duties

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Welding structural components using the Flux-Core process
• Read and work from detailed blueprints, and perform 3G, and 4G welds in all positions including overhead and vertical, in high-pressure, demanding environment
• Use calipers, basic math skills, and measuring tools to ensure precise fit-up of parts
• Conduct machining tasks as needed for component fabrication or modification
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge and schematics interpretation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Flux-Core welding within manufacturing or construction environments
• Must pass a 3g, 4g flux-core plate text, 1\" visual/bend, stringer beads only
• 5 years of structural welding experience
• Must be able to work 2nd shift Monday - Thursday (3:30pm-2:00am) with OT as required
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
