Job summary

Contech in Fort Payne, AL is seeking a Welder to contribute to essential infrastructure projects, including drainage systems and bridges. You will read blueprints, interpret welding procedures, and lay out material with templates and gauges, aligning parts for welding.

We are looking for a WELDER to join our Fort Payne, AL plant. As a Welder with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

About the Role

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
• Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
• Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist ,chains, etc.
• Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.
• Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

About You
