Job summary

Contech is seeking a Welder to join our Greely, CO plant. The welder will read blueprints, lay out material, and weld components for infrastructure projects, including drainage, bridges and stormwater structures. You will use templates, cranes, and plasma torches to ensure precise welds.

Ideal candidates have MIG and Stick experience, high attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a team environment with opportunities for overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding.
• Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with precision instruments.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
• Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
• Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist, chains, etc.
• Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.
• Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
