Job summary

Contech in El Mirage, AZ is seeking a Welder to join our plant. You will read blueprints, interpret welding procedures, and position parts using cranes and hoists to create welded assemblies for infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has MIG and Stick welding skills, a high school diploma or GED, and a precise, detail-oriented approach. We offer competitive wages, overtime opportunities, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.

• Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
• Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist, chains, etc.
• Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.
• Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

We are looking for a WELDER to join our El Mirage, AZ plant. As a Welder with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.
