Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Welder to join our outdoor fabrication team in Texas. You will read project plans and blueprints, weld on stainless or aluminum, and ensure safety and quality on every task.

Experience with MIG, TIG, stick welding and certification is preferred. Ability to work independently or with a crew, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform in variable weather conditions is required. CoVolt Power is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and diagrams to guide welding tasks.
• Perform MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored welding on various metals (stainless, galvanized, aluminum).
• Ensure safety, efficiency and quality in all work performed.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and use hand/power tools.
• Welding test must be passed; AWS/ASME certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and instructions.
• Perform MIG, TIG, STICK, and flux-cored welding on metals.
• Maintain safety standards and quality throughout tasks.
• Use plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools as required.
• Follow PPE procedures and keep work area clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.
