Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks a skilled Welder to join our team for outdoor fabrication in varied weather conditions. You will read project plans, weld MIG/TIG/stick and flux-core on stainless, galvanized, and aluminum metals, and operate plasma cutters and grinders while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years welding experience, and the ability to pass a welding test. Certification (AWS/ASME) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and diagrams to perform welding tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics with attention to detail.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Must pass a welding test and maintain safety standards.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the task at hand.
• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding on various metals, including stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.
• Ensure work is done safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
