Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Welder to perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding on diverse metals. The role requires reading project plans and blueprints, maintaining safety standards, and producing high-quality results outdoors in variable conditions.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of welding experience, the ability to read schematics, and a valid welding test. This is a full-time, on-site position with PPE and safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and diagrams to perform tasks.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder.
• Welding certification (AWS or ASME) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• Must pass a welding test.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and diagrams to perform tasks.
• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding on various metals.
• Ensure work is safe, efficient, and high quality.
• Use plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
