Job summary

CoVolt Power is hiring a Welder to join our field operations supporting utility-scale projects. You will read project plans, interpret blueprints, and perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding on stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.

The role requires at least 2 years of welding experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass a welding test. Certification such as AWS or ASME is preferred, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years welding experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Welding certification (AWS or ASME) preferred.
  • Must pass a welding test.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the task at hand.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding on various metals, including stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.
  • Ensure work is done safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools.
  • Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
