Job summary

Stabil Drill, a Superior Energy Services Company, is seeking a Full Time Welder/PTA Operator to join our Casper, WY team. You will weld with MIG/TIG and perform fabrication for downhole drilling equipment, including stabilizers, while upholding QHSE requirements.

The role emphasizes manufacturing/repair in the welding shop, estimating job timeframes with management, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. GED or HS diploma preferred with 1 year welding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of welding experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and repair functions in the welding shop.
• Fabricate downhole drilling equipment, including stabilizers.
• Experience in applying various Hard Facings used on Stabilizers.
• Experience in repairing Stabilizers.
• Manual Cylindrical Grinding.
• Work with management to estimate time frame on welding jobs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.
• Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.
