Element Technical Services is seeking a Welder for our base in Casper, WY. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, proficient in steel and aluminum welding procedures.

This role involves performing welding repairs on FRAC and COIL TUBING equipment and requires good communication skills. A $2,000 signing bonus is available for successful candidates.

Element Technical Services is currently hiring a Welder, located at our base in Casper, WY. We are currently offering a $2,000 Signing Bonus to successful candidates.

Reports to

• Shop Foreman

Summary of Position

Has 3+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Able to fabricate, install, assemble and repair components in the shop or in the field as required. Good communication skills. Work with electrical technicians, mechanics, field employees and supervisors on projects. Required to provide guidance and training to others within the department.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of welding procedures – steel & aluminum
• Knowledge of Coil Tubing and Fracturing equipment is considered an asset for this position
• Self-motivated and have the initiative to fully perform the duties of this position independently along with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize issues

Responsibilities

• Perform welding repairs on FRAC and COIL TUBING equipment, including repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment to maximize safe and productive operations
• Read and interpret schematics.
• Maintain welding consumables and supply stock levels and specify/re-order as necessary.
• Document repairs via our work order system. Help to maintain a safe and clean work environment for yourself and co-workers.
• Perform remote & on location field repairs as required with the ability to work in all weather conditions
• Participate in safety meetings and provide feedback on equipment modifications on-location and specifications
• Assist in other shop duties as required by the Shop Foreman when not completing welding projects.

Training

• All safety course requirements will be provided at time of start
• Employees will have the opportunity to attend training courses and will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each course
