Canam Steel Corporation in Buckeye, AZ is seeking self-motivated, safety-conscious candidates to join our production team on the 2nd shift. This is a full-time position with benefits and a total compensation target around $61K for a 40-50 hour work week, including base rate, overtime, and bonuses.

You will perform welding operations, read weld symbols on drawings, maintain quality, and keep a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to pass an internal welding test.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsabilités

• Ensures welds are complete and of good quality; repairs as necessary.

We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our Buckeye, AZ location!

New employees can earn $61K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.

There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives.

Position is full-time with benefits!

2nd Shift
8 hour shift schedule:
Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM + overtime as needed, including some weekends

Mandatory alternating Saturdays*Must be able to work all shift schedules

Performs welding operations and related tasks such as gathering required parts, setting up materials for welding and welding joist products.

• Performs production welding in a fast paced environment.
• Read and interpret weld symbols on shop drawings and blueprints.
• Ensures that all welds are complete and of good quality; repair bad welds as necessary.
• Maintains a positive, clean and orderly work environment.
• Performs daily cleaning and maintenance of area.
• Works in a safe and productive manner.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor including but not limited to; cleaning, steel scrap removal, and other production related jobs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• No experiencenecessary.On the job trainingprovided.

• Ability to passaninternal1Gwelding test.

• Ability to apply commonsenseunderstanding to carry out written and oral instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
