HPJ Industries is seeking a motivated and reliable welder to join our steel packaging repair team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality welding, fabrication, and repair work in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or GHS welding to repair and fabricate steel containers and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality standards and structural integrity
- Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Identify and troubleshoot welding or equipment issues as they arise
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
- Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred (MIG, TIG, Stick, or similar processes)
- Ability to read measuring tools and perform basic math calculations
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of reliability, accountability, and work ethic
- Willingness to learn and be trained on company-specific processes
