Job summary

Direct Start in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble and weld metal components, collaborating with production to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, setting up welding equipment, inspecting welds, maintaining equipment, and following safety guidelines to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a welding program from a technical school or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
