Position Overview

RANDALL Mechanical is seeking top-tier welders and pipefitters to work on a long-term, large project on the Space Coast of Florida (Palm Bay). We are committed to considering the best candidates who meet our requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes for plumbing and mechanical applications.
• Examine work for defects and ensure conformance with specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• 5+ years of experience welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes.
• Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in pipe welding preferred.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check.
• Working knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010/7018) welding.
• Experience with gas cutting techniques for piping (automatic & manual).
• Knowledge of fitting configurations adhering to ASME B31.1 piping standards.
• Preferred knowledge of examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of piping systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills in English or bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for several hours, and perform bending, stretching, crouching, and lifting as required. Ability to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and wear personal protective gear is essential.
