Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Ramsey, MN is actively seeking a Welder for the weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM). You will safely produce pulse MIG weldments that meet engineering specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This full-time position offers a base wage of $24.00-$28.20 per hour with overtime eligibility after 36 hours worked, and the actual wage offer will reflect qualifications and location.

Qualifications

• Welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Vocational welding training and/or welding certification is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld prints, process sheets, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding jobs by loading and unloading jigs and fixtures.
• Operate welding equipment according to work instructions and engineering prints.
• Produce quality weldments that meet specifications and company standards.
• Inspect completed welds and perform secondary inspections of teammates' work as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld prints, and work instructions.
• Verify part quantities before beginning each job.
• Report material shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Safely operate hoists and manual pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support other production activities as assigned.

Welder – Weekend Shift Shift: Weekend Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM) Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength as a Welder on our weekend shift and help build high-quality strength and fitness equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll safely product high-quality pulse mig weldments that meet engineering specifications while supporting a collaborative, team-focused manufacturing environment.

This full-time position offers a base wage of $24.00-28.20 per hours(based on experience) plus overtime eligibility after only 36 hours worked.

Your base wage will be between $24.00 - $29.88 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors.

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates will have:

• Welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Vocational welding training and/or welding certification is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld prints, process sheets, and work instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to successfully complete our welding training program and pass a company weld qualification test.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push and pull materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach overhead, and use hand tools and welding equipment.
• Safely operate hoists and manual pallet jacks.
