Job summary

Life Fitness in Ramsey, MN is seeking a forklift operator to receive and deliver incoming parts, organize materials, and operate forklift and crane to support production. You will verify against purchase orders, perform Oracle data entry, and assist with inventory and dock arrangements.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid forklift license, a current DOT medical card, and the ability to work a split shift. Strong math, English communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experienced and licensed forklift operator.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable/provisional driving record, current DOT medical card and ability to drive the Life Fitness straight truck.
• Proficient computer skills including email and familiarity with a keyboard and mouse.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract and multiply).
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write and understand).
• Available to work a split shift when needed.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Walk, stand, bend, squat, sit, twist/turn, climb stairs/ladders/steel loads, reach overhead, grasp tools as necessary and work at heights.
• Operate forklift and crane.
• Wear fall protection to unload steel.

Pay and Benefits

Your base wage will be between $22.25 - $26.15 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime.

The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors.

You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics.

Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
