Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience across multiple welding processes and materials.
• Ability to perform shop math functions.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Train and assist less experienced welders.
• Read and execute Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).

Skills

Welding and fabrication experience

Progressive experience with AWS, ASME, ISO or API qualifications

Blueprint interpretation

Mechanical drawing interpretation

Expert knowledge of welding properties

Education

Graduation from an accredited trade school for welding
