Rocket Lab is hiring a Welder III on the B shift in Long Beach, CA. You will weld and fabricate fluid systems and sub-assemblies for Rutherford and Archimedes engines, following procedures and blueprints with tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding experience with advanced techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes (ASME, ANSI, ISO, D17.1).
• Proficient reading blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding systems per procedures.
• Weld assemblies according to work orders, blueprints, and instructions.
• Meet product specifications within tight tolerances reading blueprints.
