Job summary

Vast Space LLC in Long Beach is seeking a Welder and Fabrication Technician III to support the development of systems for human-rated space stations. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience with Class A TIG welding and metal fabrication.

This role offers full-time, non-exempt employment with responsibilities including welding the Haven Structure and operating mechanized welding equipment. Compensation ranges from $29.17 to $41.41 per hour, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Class A TIG welding.
• 4+ years of experience with metal fabrication and forming.

Responsibilities

• Weld the Haven Structure for Human spaceflight.
• Operate mechanized and robotic welding equipment.
• Inspect fabricated parts for geometry acceptance and weld conformance.
