Rocketdyne is seeking a Fabrication D (TIG Welder) for our night shift at our facility in Redmond, WA. This position is responsible for welding various metals of Company products, fixtures, test stands, industrial structures, tooling and related equipment, components and product parts by using available welding processes including manual fusion welding and by mechanized or automated processes, including laser, in-place-tube, to do longitudinal and circumferential welding of assemblies. Welder is responsible for setup, and that the weldments meets the external and internal requirements of the applicable weld specification.
In our Redmond, WA site (Seattle area), we fabricate, assemble, and test chemical and electric thrusters, as well as small scale propulsion systems. Our electric propulsion systems enable a wide variety of missions from the exploration of our solar system to global communication and the surveillance of severe weather and wildfires.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Washington is $30.05/hr - $56.01/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
