Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. is seeking a welding technician to perform welding applications within one or more teams.

You will participate in visual and in-process inspections according to API/ISO standards and assist the team with diagnosing and solving welding problems to improve throughput. The role includes training teammates, passing welding tests, and supporting team objectives in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of welding experience.
• Must pass periodic welding tests and qualifications.
• Safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Set up/run RT & UT vessel weld processes (GMAW/FCAW).
• Set up/run RT quality pipe welds (3G).
• Set up/run UT quality nozzle welds (3G).
• Perform carbon arc gouging (limited).
• Able to make UT or RT weld repairs.
• Read drawings, WPS/PQRs; read weld measuring devices.
