Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies is seeking a welding technician in Guthrie, OK. Under general supervision, you will perform welding applications and assist in diagnosing welding issues to improve throughput.

You will participate in inspections per API/ISO standards and train team members on welding procedures and tests. Responsibilities include setting up and operating RT/UT welds, repairing welds, reading drawings and WPS/PQR, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.
• Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications.
• 1+ year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/run RT & UT Quality Vessel Weld Processes – 2 (GMAW/FCAW).
• Set-up/run RT Quality Pipe Weld – Flat (3G).
• Set-up/run UT Quality Nozzle Welds – Flat (3G).
• Set-up/run Carbon Arc Gouging – Limited.
• Able to make any UT or RT Weld Repair.
• Clean and stamp all welds.
