Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts prior to welding.
• Examine work pieces for defects and verify conformance with specifications.
• Operate welding equipment and hand tools used in welding trades.
• Demonstrate adaptability to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Lay out and align parts using measuring tools.
