Job summary

Generac is seeking a welder for 3rd shift to perform MIG, aluminum and TIG welding for parts fabrication and assembly of product lines. Will work under the area supervisor and support multiple products and areas to ensure high-quality finished products.

The role requires safety compliance, ability to read blueprints, and willingness to train others. Shift is 11pm–7am with a premium payment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Certification.
• Internal written and physical weld test.
• An understanding of welding fundamentals.
• Basic welding experience and/or training.
• Basic knowledge of Mig Welding Equipment.
• Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function.
• Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
• Provide training to new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.
• Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
• Interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks.
• Assist with robotic welder.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Hours: 3rd Shift: (11pm - 7am)

Pay: $25.5 an hour + 11% shift premium
